I love to capture small scenes of quiet beauty in my work. Cakes are a fun subject for me as they are inherently little and visually distillable but leave lots of room for fun decorations, icing and adornments.
These works have been drawn with loose, sometimes wobbly lines, soft edges and inconsistent textures to reflect the irregularity I admire in homemade foods and plants.
