I love to capture small scenes of quiet beauty in my work. Pot plants make the perfect subject for me as they are inherently little and visually distillable but still retain the magic imperfections of nature such as unevenly distributed foliage, tangling branches, variegated leaves and wild, unexpected colours.
These works have been drawn with loose, sometimes wobbly lines, soft edges and inconsistent textures to reflect the irregularity I admire in plants.
